Requirements
( 1. ) Two Letters Of Recommendation
- Â Principle, Professor, Faculty Or Staff
- Â Individual Not In Your School Or Family
- One Member Of Omega Psi Phi
( 2. ) An Official Transcript
(3) A One-Page Essay Explaining The Attributes Of Carter G. Woodson, You Personally Would Like To Emulate And Why
(4) If Applicable Must Complete Oklahoma Promise
(5) Enrolled In An Accredited Degree Granting Institution Or Trade School In the Fall Semester
(6) An African American Male High School Senior In The Oklahoma City Metropolitan Area Schools, Or Collegiate Student In Undergrad/ Graduate Level Course Work
(7) Sons And Grandsons Of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Phi Psi Or Upsilon Iota Chapter. Those Members Must Be In Good standing with The Fraternity (Financial On All 3 Levels)
(8) This Application Must Be Returned Or Postmarked By March 3, 2023

The Following Scholarship Are Available Through 34 Reasons Foundation, Upsilon Iota Graduate Chapter, Millwood Public Schools & Langston University. 34 Reasons Foundation Scholarship Reserves The Right To Determine Which Scholarship(S) Will Or Will Not Be Awarded In Any Given Year Along With The Amounts(S) Of Each Scholarship. The Information Provided Herein Are Based On Scholarships Awarded In Prior Years. Applicants Will Only Need To Submit One Application.
Lions Den Creates Jobs For Student Workers On Campus To Help With Analytical Projects, Marketing, Scholarship/Department Grant Researchers, Alumni Retention Post-Graduation, Student Initiatives On Campus, and Attending Conferences All While Being Compliant With The Behavioral Health Board Of Oklahoma & American Counseling Association.
